Ms. Hoffman was raised in Arkansas and moved to California to attend law school at UC Davis before eventually making her way down the coast to Ventura. In her free time, she runs a business selling handmade candles and home décor and searching for sea glass along the nearby beaches with her two dogs, Quincey and Louie.
