Mr. Baer joined Slaughter, Reagan & Cole, LLP in November 2025. Mr. Baer’s legal practice focuses on litigation, transactions, government contracts, real estate, construction disputes, securities, business, corporate, blue sky, family, bankruptcy, immigration, torts, and insurance law. Previously, Mr. Baer was a Senior Trial Attorney for the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. Mr. Baer has first chaired numerous trials and helped shape contracts law in the District of Columbia. Mr. Baer interned at the United States Securities & Exchange Commission, Enforcement Division, and he was a Research Attorney for the Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara. Mr. Baer has worked in multinational law firms and has been involved in numerous high-stakes litigations. Mr. Baer is partially fluent in Spanish, French, and Italian.

Personal
Mr. Baer is a member of a family that has been in San Francisco, California for seven (7) generations. Mr. Baer is a father of three (3) outstanding young men. Mr. Baer is a former semi-professional athlete (baseball and lacrosse). In his free time, Mr. Baer watches football and baseball, attends sporting events, plays guitar, reads non-fiction, and volunteers for the underprivileged at a local food pantry.
