Barry Reagan Obtains Defense Decision

Slaughter, Reagan & Cole, LLP partner, Barry Reagan obtained a defense jury verdict on behalf of the firm’s homeowners association client and property management company client. The plaintiffs in the case contended that the HOA-owned commercial air conditioning system located on the roof below plaintiffs’ penthouse unit constituted a nuisance because it caused vibrations throughout their unit and the noise level exceeded the Los Angeles noise ordinance. Plaintiffs claimed significant psychological injuries. Counsel for plaintiffs asked the Los Angeles based jury for a verdict of several million dollars. The jury issued a defense verdict on each and every cause of action for the firm’s clients.
