Barry Reagan Obtains Defense Judgment for Homeowners Association

Slaughter & Reagan, LLP Partner Barry Reagan successfully defended a Homeowners Association and its Board members at trial in Kern County Superior Court in Bakersfield. The plaintiffs, two disgruntled homeowners, sued their Homeowners Association and its former and present Board members for damages over allegedly faulty maintenance of the Homeowners Association's road. Plaintiffs also requested that the Court appoint a receiver due to alleged mismanagement. After a two-day bench trial, the court entered a judgment in favor of the Homeowners Association dismissing all of plaintiffs' claims.
