Slaughter & Reagan, LLP Obtains Defense Verdict in Ventura Jury Trial

We are proud to report that in one recent case our firm represented, Slaughter & Reagan, LLP attorneys Barry Reagan and Amanda Happle were able to obtain a defense verdict on behalf of a local Ventura County business. The business and its owners had been accused of conversion (theft), elder abuse, and intentional infliction of emotional distress and breach of contract.

During the six-day trial, our defense team made it clear to the jury that the plaintiff's accusations against our client were completely unfounded. The jury sided with our clients and rejected the plaintiff's claims. The outcome of this case makes our clients eligible to be reimbursed for all of their court costs.
