Gabriele M. Lashly Authors "That's a SLAPP Suit."

Gabriele M. Lashly wrote an article for the Summer 2011 edition of the Law Journal which is published by the California Association of Community Managers. The title of the article, “That’s a SLAPP Suit,” explains the benefits of an anti-SLAPP motion to dispose of meritless lawsuits filed by disgruntled homeowners against their associations. These motions have proven quite effective and assist in terminating cases at the pleading stage while allowing the associations to recover their attorneys’ fees.
