As a civil litigator, Mr. Partida practices law at Slaughter, Reagan & Cole, LLP in the areas of Personal Injury Defense; Premises Liability; and Habitability defense.
Previously, Mr. Partida has served as in-house corporate counsel and outside corporate counsel to small and mid-sized companies. In addition, he has practiced in the areas of Construction Law, Construction Defect litigation, Employment law, Wage & Hour litigation, General Real Estate Law, Products Liability, and Insurance Subrogation.
Bert was born and raised in Oxnard. In keeping with the Rotary tradition of service above self, Mr. Partida serves with the noon-time Rotary in Oxnard and is a Paul Harris Fellow. Further, he serves by governor appointment to the Designated Local Authority to the Former Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Paula. Also, he gives back to his alma mater on the CSUCI alumni & friends association board. In a new endeavor with AYSO, Mr. Partida volunteers as the referee administrator in his local community. In his free time, he enjoys practicing Isshinryu Karate.
